Mr. Miles’ fondest wish is to develop a fund to directly support the Morgan State University Band Program. To this end, the Melvin and Cathy Miles Endowed Fund was established through the Morgan State University Foundation by a generous donation from the Miles’. All money raised during the retirement events will go into this fund.
The foundation has been laid...the legacy continues.
Our Mission
To provide financial assistance to the Foundation in awarding funds to the Morgan State University Band Program's operating account which provides support towards operating expenses, such as band travel, equipment, materials, and staffing needs.

As we work to advance our mission and provide financial assistance to the Morgan State University Band Program, we will once again understand the powerful force of generosity of our extraordinary alumni and friends.
